David Welch Burton was born in Connecticut where his first love was playing the oboe. After moving to Florida he quickly realized there was no place to pursue his music career and instead embraced surfing, small beach town living, and the visual arts. Starting with pen and inks he moved into paintings and is currently working in 3-D mixed-media. Through his art David redefines the meaning of found objects into new and mesmerizing compositions. David currently works and lives in Indialantic, FL and travels around the U.S. for various shows.
